What happened
NeuroSense Therapeutics Ltd. (NASDAQ: NRSN) moved its Canadian filing target for PrimeC to March 2027 to add new data.
The company said on Nov. 2 that its New Drug Submission to Health Canada will now include a new neurofilament light chain (NfL) analysis. That moved it off the December 2026 timetable announced earlier. Health Canada has confirmed it has no concerns with the revised timing.
The package will combine the Phase 2b PARADIGM results published in JAMA Neurology with the NfL analysis and additional unpublished PARADIGM data. In the new analysis, PrimeC-treated participants showed a greater NfL reduction than placebo. The effect was more pronounced among participants with higher baseline functionality. More statistical analyses are underway.

Why it matters
The company is trading a later filing for a fuller dossier. It says the added data should strengthen the application. The submission would be PrimeC's first marketing application in any jurisdiction.
If approved, PrimeC would address approximately 4,000 Canadians living with ALS, with approximately 1,000 new diagnoses each year. NeuroSense is also advancing talks with potential commercialization partners for Canada and preparing for the FDA-cleared U.S. Phase 3 PARAGON trial.
OptimistFi has argued that NeuroSense's value depends on clinical milestones or a partnership or financing. The partner talks fit that view. But the later date pushes the first regulatory milestone further out, so the view is mixed.
The company's own caveats apply. It says there is no assurance the submission will be filed on time, reviewed within the standard period or approved. The new data may not provide the anticipated supporting evidence. Health Canada could also ask for more information or clinical studies.

What's next
The next test is the filing date the company has now set. The NfL and other statistical analyses must be finished first. The company lists delays in finishing them or preparing the submission as a risk.
Once Health Canada accepts the submission for review, its standard review target is approximately 300 calendar days. A filing on the revised schedule, or a Canadian commercialization partner, would strengthen the case. Slippage or a request for more studies would weaken it.
