Why it matters

OptimistFi's case is that Allegion is a high-quality security hardware and access-control compounder if its brands and installed base keep turning replacement demand into pricing power, cash flow, and disciplined per-share growth.

This quarter supports that view because revenue rose $102.4 million from a year earlier and adjusted operating income rose $32.3 million.

Year-to-date available cash flow was $539.4 million, up $54.2 million, and the company repurchased about 0.8 million shares for about $120 million while paying about $46 million in dividends.

The main caveat in the filing is that tariff refunds and a $4.1 million gain on non-operating investments helped results, and International organic revenue fell 0.2%.

What's next

On Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, John H. Stone and Mike Wagnes will hold a conference call at 8 a.m. ET.

The company raised full-year 2026 reported revenue growth to 9.5% to 10.5%, organic growth to 5.0% to 6.0%, adjusted EPS to $9.05 to $9.10, and reported EPS to $8.35 to $8.40.

Hitting those ranges would support the case, while a slip would weaken it.
