Why it matters
Operating income rose 8.3% to $241.8 million. Net income rose 9.2% to $152.2 million. Diluted EPS rose 12.7% to $4.60. Supply chain gross margin improved to 12.2% from 11.3%. Income from operations, excluding foreign currency impact, increased 8.4%. The leverage ratio was 4.2x, down from 4.5x a year earlier.
OptimistFi's case is that Domino's can compound if its franchise system keeps turning scale and supply-chain leverage into cash. This quarter supports that view with stronger profits and continued buybacks. That can help per-share results when growth holds.
Revenue increased $38.5 million from $1.15 billion a year earlier. The filing says higher supply chain revenues and higher global franchise royalty revenues drove most of the gain. It also says supply chain revenues rose mainly because of higher order volumes and a 2.2% rise in food basket pricing.

What's next
Net cash provided by operating activities was $520.6 million for the three fiscal quarters, down from $552.3 million. Capital expenditures rose to $60.8 million from $56.7 million. Free cash flow fell to $459.8 million from $495.6 million, so the cash return story still rests on operating strength.
The company said it will file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q today and hold a conference call today at 8:30 a.m. Eastern to review third-quarter results. The quarterly dividend is due to shareholders of record as of December 15, 2026, and is scheduled to be paid on December 30, 2026.
Higher same store sales and free cash flow in the Form 10-Q would strengthen the case. Another near-flat sales report would not.
