Forum Markets (NASDAQ: FRMM) forms AI venture with 2027 revenue guidance

What happened

Forum Markets, Incorporated (NASDAQ: FRMM) said it formed Forum Edge AI LLC with Edge Node AI on October 2, 2026. Forum called it its first major investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Forum owns 51% of the joint venture and expects to consolidate its results. The initial planned deployment covers about 11 MW of energized capacity, and the compute is fully allocated to long-term off-take partners.

The Dallas site has about 2 MW running today. Capacity is expected to rise to about 4 MW in the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027. The High Point, N.C., campus has 9 MW of live utility power today, and initial installation of about 6 MW of GPUs is expected to energize in the first quarter of 2027.

Forum also set full-year 2027 consolidated revenue guidance at $125 million to $175 million. That guidance reflects 100% of joint venture revenue for the initial portfolio. Forum said no equity was issued to launch the initial deployment or reach that guidance.

Why it matters

OptimistFi's case is that Forum Markets can work only if its platform becomes an operating capital-markets utility, not just an ETH-heavy balance-sheet story funded by dilution and converts. This filing strengthens that case by pairing a live AI infrastructure rollout with a revenue target.

Dallas is running at about 18% of the initial 11 MW plan, so the guidance still depends on a buildout that is early.

The release says there is no assurance the rollout, financing, power, permits, equipment delivery or customer contracts will arrive on time or at all.

What's next

The next dated test is the High Point, N.C., site, where the first compute racks are expected to energize in the first quarter of 2027. Dallas is expected to reach about 4 MW at the meter by early 2027, and the initial mobile tower deployment is expected by mid-2027.

If those milestones land on schedule and the first racks produce contracted revenue in late 2026 or early 2027, the guidance looks more grounded. Delays in any of those steps would weaken the case the release is making.
